ISLAMABAD: Promising Ahsan Ramzan outclassed top seed Umer Khan 5-1 to clinch the Jubilee Insurance National U-18 Snooker Championship title here at Pakistan Sports Complex’s Snooker Hall on Tuesday.

Ahsan did not allow Umer to settle down during the final, registering a convincing 63-48, 69-54, 41-79, 61-47, 69-30, 59-16 victory as he took full advantage of last year’s winner Sheikh Mudassir and runner-up Naseem Akhtar being unable to take part in the championship as they were over-age.

After a two-day break, the National U-21 Snooker Championship will be organised at the same venue in which 35 players will take part.
