LODHRAN: Lawyers elected their preservatives in elections for 2020-21 across Punjab on Saturday.

Rana Diwan Ali was elected the Lodhran District Bar Association (DBA) and Rana Mansoor Ahmed Khan general secretary. Other office-bearers were elected unopposed. Also, Rao Muhammed Jamil was elected the Khanewal DBA president and Munib Daha general secretary.

SAHIWAL: Raja Javed Mahmood was elected Sahiwal DBA president, and Rana Muhammad Sajid, Rana Zawar Hussain and Ali Shan Doger were elected general secretary, vice president and joint secretary.

GUJRAT: Bilal Hussain Gorci and Syed Imran Sagheer were elected president and secretary-general whereas Ijaz Ahmed Warraich and Imtiaz Ahmed Khial were elected vice president and finance secretary.

SHEIKHUPURA: For Nankana Sahib DBA, Pir Tariq Shah won the slot of president, Asif Bhatti general secretary and Ateequr Rehman vice president. The Sheikhupura DBA elected Syed Nadeem Shahid and Malik Javed Ahmad Khokhar president and general secretary.

CHINIOT: The Chiniot DBA elected Irfanul Haqpuri president, Irfan Nekukara general secretary.

MIANWALI: Shafaullah Khan was elected Mianwali DBA president, Tahir Javed Khan vice president, Saleemullah Khan general secretary and Faisal Mehmood Khan finance secretary. Librarian and executive committee members were elected unopposed.

MUZAFFARGARH: Muhammad Arshad Bhatti won election for Muzaffargarh DBA president and Zubair Sohrani general secretary. Jam Younis, Punjab Bar Council member, said that his group won the election.

FAISALABAD: Shahzad Bashir became president and Mehmood Awan general secretary.

RAHIM YAR KHAN: Roy Mazhar Kharal and Ghulam Ghous Korai were elected president and general secretary of the Rahim Yar Khan DBA. Jam Farhad Ali Ghotia won the seat of finance secretary while Syeda Bela Akhtar was elected joint secretary.

BAHAWALPUR: As per DBA election result, Liaquat Sami and Imran Aziz were elected president and general secretary.

KASUR: The DBA elected Mehr Muhammad Saleem president, Muhammad Imran general secretary.
