QUETTA: Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) chief Senator Sirajul Haq has said that politicians, along with the establishment, are responsible for weakening democracy in the country.
Speaking at a press conference in Khuzdar, he said that most of the political parties had become property of particular families and their main objective was to protect their personal interests.
“Incapable and corrupt politicians provide opportunity to the establishment to intervene in politics,” he added.
“Neither for America nor India, but a corrupt and weak system is the main problem for Pakistan,” he said at the presser held on Tuesday.
