KARACHI: Holiday in 11 distts today

KARACHI, Aug 17: The Sindh government has declared August 18 as closed holiday for workers under Factories Act 1934 in the district of Karachi, Thatta, Tando Allahyar, Ghotki, Naushahro Feroz, Jacobabad, Kashmor, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Sanghar and Tharparkar.

All offices, autonomous/semi-autonomous bodies, corporations and local councils under the administrative control of the provincial government will remain closed on account of the first phase of local government election.—PPI
