NOWSHERA: A boy died and four other children suffered serious stomach cramps after eating poisonous fruit of a tree in Gulbahar area of Jehangira here on Thursday.
Police sources said that the children were playing in a local graveyard when they found and ate fruit of the tree.
Soon after eating the fruit, nine-year-old Noman died instantly, while the other four children suffered stomach disorder and were taken to hospital.
They said that one of the children, Abuzar, was referred to Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar, in critical condition. The other three were identified as Islam, Saleem and Nadia.
