IN the name of azadi march, the mob and masses are being manipulated into what not. Maulana Fazlur Rahman pompous demand for the prime minister’s resignation is totally out of league. At the very first place they must do their business in the opposition and not gather people.

These marches and such protests are certainly a threat to the country’s peace whether the crowd is peaceful or not. After all, what are we portraying as a nation? The government should control such protests so that no one can violate the state’s rules and regulations.

The maulana’s tone while addressing to people and prime minister was not clearly praise-worthy. This container system ritual should be banished as soon as possible while they can solve their conflicts indoors in a civil manner.

This issue must be controlled and solved as soon as possible, because if it will prevail; every other day the government will have to face difficulties when anybody from political background will gather a brainless mob and threaten the country’s peace and sovereignty.

IT is shameful that our politicians do not think about the disturbance civilians may face amid the road blockades.

The ongoing azadi march led by JUI-F leader Maulana Fazalur Rahman has perturbed lives of the people in the capital.

Owing to the shutdown of the main roads, it takes a long time to reach markets, offices, schools and hospitals.

I urge the government to immediately address the legitimate grievances of the demonstrators so as to restore normalcy in the capital.
