ISLAMABAD: After Khalil Akhtar, another Pakistani shooter, Ghulam Mustafa Bashir, has also qualified for next year’s Tokyo Olympics.
Both confirmed their qualification after winning the Olympic Quota for Pakistan in the Rapid Fire Pistol category.
Deputy director general Pakistan Sports Board Azam Dar told Dawn that he had received the news about Bashir’s qualification from the National Riffle Association.
Meanwhile, IPC minister Dr. Fahmida Mirza, secretary IPC and others congratulated Bashir for qualifying for the Games.
