KARACHI: Committee set up

KARACHI Aug 7: The Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Environment and Alternative Energy, Muhammad Noman Saigol, said on Sunday that positive changes would be brought in the environment department to improve its performance. A committee has been formed to achieve the goal.

He said this while addressing a meeting of officials of his department and representatives of various NGOs at his office.

The adviser said that an advisory committee comprising Col Tahir Mashhadi, Abdul Qadir Khanzada, Haider Ali Rizvi and Sajid Ahmed had been constituted, which would give suggestions for bringing improvement in the department’s performance.

He said personnel from international organisations would also be included in the committee. —APP
