UMERKOT: Pakistan Peoples Party Sindh president Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has said that nation has tired of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government because of its ill-advised policies and hollow claims.

Mr Khuhro said after chairing a meeting of divisional workers here on Sunday that thousands of people would gather at Islamkot on Oct 23 to raise their voice against the PTI government and its anti-people policies.

He said that PTI government had deprived common man of even one time meal and the party’s hollow claims of providing millions of jobs and low-cost houses were just an attempt to befool people while in reality they had compelled people to commit suicide.

He said that the federal government meted out step-motherly attitude to Sindh. On the one hand the province’s water had been stopped to destroy its agriculture sector and on the other hand its development funds had been withheld to deprive people of basic facilities, he said.

He deplored that National Assembly rejected a bill for creation of grade 1 to 4 jobs while it considered a bill to enforce Article 149-4.

He warned that no one could dare divide Sindh. If anybody still harboured such dreams he or she should read the history of Sindh, he added.

Sindh Minister for Culture Syed Sardar Shah, MNAs Mir Munawwar Talpur and Mahesh Malani, former MNA Pir Aftab Jeelani, former senator Ajiz Dhamra; MPAs Syed Ali Mardan Shah, Rana Hameer Singh Sodha, Noor Mohammad Bhurgari, Qasim Siraj Soomro, Sher Mohammad Bilalani and others also attended the convention.
