NEW media breakthroughs have made it easy for people to connect with each other. Social media and mobile phones are addictive. This addiction has given businesses a rare opportunity — to show the consumer what he/she wants with sponsored content and advertisements.

It is all about instant gratification. You can now buy any product with just a click.

However, I would like to add that advertisements are not just restricted to businessmen and industrialists. Today, countries use carefully modelled campaigns to promote tourism and culture to boost their economies. A great example is ‘Malaysia, Truly Asia’.

We should follow Malaysia’s footsteps and develop our strategies to attract more and more tourists to our country’s beautiful beaches and glorious mountain ranges.
