LAHORE: PML-N Lawyers Forum Lahore Vice President Kashif Ali Chaudhry returned home in the early hours of Monday after allegedly being kidnapped from Thokar Niaz Baig on Sunday.

Mr Chaudhry was visiting a market near his residence when some unidentified people on two vehicles approached him. CCTV footage showed some masked men holding the lawyer and later shifting him to a black vehicle.

Reports suggested that Mr Chaudhry had chanted slogans against national institutions during former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s hearing in a Lahore accountability court on Oct 11.

His brother Nazim Hussain had filed an application with Hanjarwal police station for registration of a case.

The lawyer reached home around 3:30am and also visited the high court bar on Monday.
