FAISALABAD: Police booked former MNA Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf local leader Dr Nisar Jutt, along with seven others in a cross-version case on charges of killing his rival and a relative.

In her complaint, Ms Sidra of Chak 66-JB, Jhang Road, said her brother Abdul Rehman had political rivalry with Dr Jutt since the last elections. She alleged that Jutt would also hurl life threats at her brother

She stated that the former MNA, along with his accomplices, attacked his brother near Moti Sain shrine at Chak 65-JB when he was on his way to Sheikhupura.

She said that in the attack, Rehman sustained serious injuries and later died while being shifted to hospital.
