KARACHI: A field of seven horses will make their presence felt in the Upbeat Cup when it takes place in the Gymkhana race meeting at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

The Upbeat Cup, which is supporting race in classification combined scale order IV and V, will go over four-and-a-half furlongs. It is the fourth race of a five-race card that has been drawn for the day.

The next race which is the days feature event, top combined scale order I, II, III and IV has five starters and will also be contested over the same distance of four-and-a-half furlongs.

The first two races are of lower classifications, scale order VIII and scale order VII and VIII, and will be run over four furlongs.

Fast Lady, a bay mare from Karachi, will make her debut in the opening race.

The first race gets into action at 3:00pm.
