LAHORE: A card of six events, featuring the Mohammad Tughlaq Cup, will be decided during the fourth day/night Lahore Summer Meeting at the Racecourse here on Sunday.

A handicap race for Class VI Division I and II to be gone over the sprinting distance of 1,000 metres has eight runners, who have accepted to run for the top honours.

On the recent track-time form, two of them — filly Sara Jamoot and mare Dazzling — seem to decide for a close battle. Having equal chance on the assigned handicap figures both had a close finish when they met in a race a fortnight back.

The Rashid Latif-trained three-year-old filly Sara Jamoot, who has not yet broke her maiden’s duck and is winless in her five outings, has a bright chance to come out of it.

The Mohammad Rafiq Khan-trained Dazzling and filly Abbas Princess will be the main rivals of Sara Jamoot in this the fifth race in racing order.

The supporting event, the Gujranwala Plate Class VII Division III to be contested over 1,000 metres has only seven runners In this race three fillies — Qamar Choice, Mehrbani and Buzkushi are prominent among seven runners.
