HARIPUR: A man was killed while two others were injured critically in a road accident near Panian on Saturday.

Police and witnesses said three friends from Haripur Afghan refugee camp No 20, were travelling towards Hassan Abdal in a car. When they reached Panian bridge a recklessly-driven truck coming from opposite direction hit the car, injuring all the three inmates critically.

They were shifted to the Haripur Trauma Centre, where doctors pronounced one of them identified as Wali Mohammad dead. The injured were named Mohsin and Abid Khan.
