KARACHI, Aug 2: Police have urged the public to inform them if they have any clue regarding the two women found shot dead in DHA on Monday morning. The Clifton Town TPO said that any person having any information that could lead to the identification of the two victims can contact him or town investigation officer, Clifton Town. His or her identity would be kept strictly confidential.

“So far no one has come to claim the bodies, the corpses are kept at the Edhi cold storage at Sohrab Goth”, the TPO said.

The bullet riddled bodies were found near the DHA Women College Phase VIII. Police said it seems that they were shot else where and the bodies were dumped in the bushes.

One of the victims was believed to be 19 years old while the other in her late 20’s, police said.

The younger victim suffered 3 bullets while the other one suffered five bullet wounds, police said.

Investigators said that the two victims were shot from a very close range and almost all the bullets were lodged in the chest of the two victims.

However, police are still baffled about the motive behind the killings. The two victims didn’t appeared affluent enough that they wound have been killed for valuables, police said.

Moreover, why someone would shot five times and three times respectively when the job could be done with one or two bullets, remarked one of the investigators.

The delay in the identification suggests that the two might have come from some other part of the country, a police official remarked. In such a scenario the identification might take some days, he added.

KILLED: A bullet riddled body of a young man was found in Lyari on Tuesday morning.

Police said that the victim was in his mid 30’s; the body was recovered from the limits of Baghdadi police station.

Police shifted the body to the Civil Hospital for autopsy.

Following the legal formalities, the body was shifted to the Edhi morgue for identification.
