QUETTA: The Pemra chief has asked a Balochi-language television channel and all cable operators in Balochistan to ensure that no Indian content goes on air.
Saleem Baig, who heads the Pakistan Electronic and Media Regulatory Authority, issued the instructions during a visit to Pemra’s Quetta office on Friday.
He met officials of Wash TV network and a delegation of cable operators.
The cable operators said they had committed themselves to boycotting Indian content and taken steps to ensure that no anti-Pakistan content made its way to television channels.
