PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has announced six hours of power suspension on different days due to maintenance work on the transmission lines in Peshawar and Swat districts.

According to a statement issued here on Wednesday, the consumers of 11KV Urmar 2, Pandu Baba, New Hazaar Khwani, Ring Road, Kachori, Pandu Road 2, Surizai, Yakatoot, Chairman Daftar, 11KV Urmar, Baghbanan, Chamkani, Chughal Pura feeders will face inconvenience on Sept 14 and 16 from 8am to 2pm.

Similarly, the consumers of 11KV Charbagh, Charbagh Express, Bandara, Shin, K/Khela, Shangla, Shawar Express, Chuprial, Drushkhela, Matta, 11KV Murguraar, Mingora 1, 2, 3, 4, Gulkadra, Takhta Band, Sanger, Bandai, Haji Baba, Bara Bandai, Saidu Baba, Sinor, Qamber, Marguzar, Kabal 1, 2, 3, 4, Gogdara, Malamjaba, Bari Kot feeders will face inconvenience on Sept 12 and 14 from 7am to 1pm.

Power supply will remain suspended from 132KV Khwazakhela grid station on Sept 12 and 14 from 7am to 1pm, resultantly consumers of 11KV Charbagh, Charbagh Express, Bandara, Shin, K/Khela, Shangla, Shawar Express, Chuprial, Drushkhela, Matta feeders will face inconvenience.

Power supply will remain suspended from 132KV Mingora grid station on Sept 12 and 14 from 7am to 1pm.

Meanwhile, Pesco dismissed from service sub-divisional officer Tariq Mahmood and suspended two line superintendents due to negligence which led to fatal incidents involving lineman.

A Pesco spokesman said the action against the officials was taken on the basis of reports submitted by disciplinary committees.
