LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday vowed to continue working with the SLC in providing the Sri Lankan team with complete safety and security after the latter issued a statement that it was reassessing the security situation in Pakistan ahead of its scheduled tour later this month.

“We have seen the SLC statement, but are not privy to any information or intelligence report relating to safety of the Sri Lankan team,” a PCB spokesman told Dawn on Wednesday. “The PCB reiterates its commitment to provide complete safety and security to the Sri Lankan side and in this relation will continue to work with the SLC.”
