LAHORE, July 31: Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has invited 77 probables from its affiliated units to the trials for selecting a Pakistan team for the qualifying rounds of the Asian Football Confederation Youth Championship.

About 30 to 35 probables will be selected from the trials which will be held at Punjab Stadium on Aug 10.

They will, then, attend a training camp at the same venue to finalise the team.

However, a PFF spokesman said that any player other than the invitees could appear in the trials by showing documents proving his age.

Probables born on or after Jan 1, 1987 will be eligible for the trials and they will have to bring with them original computerized Form B.

The selected squad will face Uzbekistan on Nov 23 and Tajikistan on Nov 25. Both the matches will be played in Tajikistan.

Punjab: Ahmed Shahzad, Muhammad Arshed, Muhammad Azam, Haji Muhammad, Shahid Nabi, Ali Ishtiaq, Shahzad Ali, Nadeem Abbas, Muhammad Rizwan, Asim Mansoor, Muhammad Amir.

Balochistan: Ghulam Nabi, Imran Hashmi, Bashir Ahmed, Muhammad Asghar, Muhammad Idris, Jadid Khan, Waqas Ahmed, Abbas Ali, Aimal Khan, Asmat Khan.

Islamabad: Kamran Khan, Ghulam Mohiuddin, Sanaullah, Nasir Jamil, Ahmed Jilani, Adil Gul, Wasim Khan, Umair Aslam, Nauman Tanveer.

Pakistan Army: Imran, Shahbaz, Naveed, Akbar, Jafar, Sharzeel, Hamidullah, Tariq Mehmood.

Sindh: Amir Gul, Azam, Imdad Murad, Yasir Murad, Muhammad Ishtiaq, Abdul Wahab, Alam Zaib.

Wohaib Club: Bilal Rafique, Adnan, Muhammad Ahmed, Zeeshan, Ghulam Murtaza.

HEC: Abid, Naveed Akhtar, Waqar, Umair, Shahid.
