GWADAR: A man was shot dead in the Tump tehsil of Kech district after he was kidnapped from his village, Levies Force officials said on Friday.

According to the officials, Mohammad Jan was kidnapped by gunmen from Rodbin village. He informed his family about his kidnapping through phone and said that the kidnappers were asking him to repay the loan he had taken from them.

He told his family members to bring all gold ornaments they had and put the jewellery at a particular place identified by him. His wife took all her jewellery and put it at the place.

“I waited the whole night for release of my husband, but received his body in the morning,” she told Levies Force officials.
