NOWSHERA: Unknown robbers broke into a bank in Pabbi area and took away Rs20.4 million on Thursday night, the police said.

The robbers entered the bank from the backside after making a hole in the wall, disconnected the alarm of the security system and also turned off the

CCTV camera installed there, the police said, adding the robbers decamped with Rs20.4 million, the bank ledgers and cameras.

The police said that FIR had not been registered.

DIG Mardan Mohammad Ali Gandapur, the Nowshera district police officer and other senior officers reached the bank soon after receiving the information and started investigations.
