KARACHI: The Sindh High Court has issued notices to chief secretary Sindh, director general Rangers, provincial police officer and other respondents on a petition pertaining to a missing person.
The two-judge SHC bench headed by Justice Mohammad Karim Khan Agha directed the respondents to file comments till Sept 5.
The petitioner, Tana Bibi, petitioned the SHC and contended that her son Aktharullah, a dumper cleaner, was allegedly taken away by the law enforcement agencies from Superhighway in Malir district in March last year.
Impleading the chief secretary, DG Rangers, IG, SSP and SHO concerned as respondents, the petitioner sought the whereabouts of her missing son and pleaded for his recovery.
