GWADAR: Three people, including a woman, were shot dead and another man was injured in two separate attacks in the Peshkan area of Gwadar and the Buleda area of Kech district.

Police said that an armed man identified as Noor Jan barged into the house of one Abdul Rahim Ghazi and opened indiscriminate fire. As a result Nasima, the wife of Abdul Rahim, died on the spot while he was injured.

Other members of the family rushed to the scene and caught hold of the alleged attacker while he was escaping. They beat him up badly and later handed him over to police in a serious condition.

Police shifted the body of the woman and her injured husband to hospital where the latter was admitted.

In another incident armed men gunned down two brothers in the Buleda area of Kech district. Levies officials said that the assailants targeted both brothers when they were going home after closing their shop in the Slo area of Buleda Tehsil.

“Both brothers died on the spot after receiving multiple bullet wounds,” a Levies official said.

The deceased belonged to Kalat and had been running their grocery store in the Buleda area since long.
