THIS refers to the letter ‘What’s beauty?’ (July 15). The concept of beauty transcends time and space. Anything which creates feelings of delight, joy, awe, mystery or surprise in the mind of the viewer is considered beautiful.

This is the universal definition of beauty and is personal and subjective. The digital age has not altered this age-old romantic concept of beauty. If somebody suffers from some complexes or psychological issues by comparing himself or herself to some fake standards of beauty set by the media, he or she needs to go to a doctor for help.
