BAHAWALPUR: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Bahawalpur, on Monday announced the result of the secondary school certificate examination.

A ceremony was held to distribute medals, certificates and cash prizes among the position holders.

BISE controller examinations Tahir Hussain Jaffery said that out of 81,846 candidates who appeared in the exam, 64,055 were declared successful, showing a pass percentage of 78.26pc.

The ceremony was presided over by BISE Chairman Dr Mazhar Saeed while MNA Farooq Azam Malik was the chief guest who gave away medals and prizes to the position-holders.

FAISALABAD: The BISE Faisalabad also announced the annual result of Matric examination.

The girls clinched first the top positions as Inshara of Divisional Public School secured 1,090 marks and bagged first position and Laiqa Iqbal of the same school clinched second position with 1,087 marks.

Three students–Zoha Tariq, Fiza Fatima and Qamar Jawad– shared third position with 1,085 marks.

As many as 158,746 students appeared in the exam and 124,024 of them remained successful with pass percentage of 78.15.

MULTAN: The BISE announced the results of the SSC examination.

Of total 110,002 candidates, 73,512 have been declared successful with a pass percentage of 77.80.

According to the results, Mahek Ali of the Punjab Public Girls High School, Shujabad, stood first with 1,090 marks, Muhammad Zeshan Shehzad of Muslim Public Higher Secondary School, Peoples Colony, Mumtazabad got the second position with 1,089 marks while Ammara Akhtar of the Punjab School for Girls Vehari remained third with 1,088 marks.

GUJRANWALA: BISE Controller Examination Nasir Mehmood Awan announced the names of position holders in a press conference.

Muntaha Bashir, the student of Talent Kids Campus for Girls, Peoples Colony stood first with 1,090 marks.

Tooba Bibi of Angels School System, Model Town , obtained 1,088 marks and stood second, Muhammad Nauman of the Government High School, Kadhar, Mandi Bahauddin, and Abdul Wahab of Ghazali Model High School obtained 1,087 marks each and shared third position.
