Summer basketball camp concludes

KARACHI: The DC South Summer Basketball camp concluded here at Arambagh basketball court on Friday night in which more than thirty young boys participated.

Deputy Commissioner South, Salahuddin Ahmed distributed the prizes and certificates among the participants and announced that like previous year, two grand Independence Day boys and girls basketball tournaments will be held from August 16 to 18.

KBBA president Ghulam Muhammad informed that during the camp the participants were divided into five teams and two tournaments were also played between them which were dedicated as Brigadier Rashid Malik Memorial and Prof Hashmatullah Lodhi Memorial. Saad Salahuddin, Hassan Ali and M Daniyal Khan were declared best players of the summer camp.
