Gold hits Rs82,000 per tola

KARACHI: The per tola gold price soared by Rs1,700 on Thursday to Rs82,000 after international yellow metal rates surged by $24 to $1,420 an ounce.

According to Karachi Saraf Association the price of 10-gram gold also recorded an increase of Rs1,458 to Rs70,302.

The price of silver, however, remained steady and was traded at Rs900 per tola and Rs771.60 for 10-gram.
