Budget debate

Published July 10, 2019

DURING the budget debate, the opposition was unaware and did not know what the finance bill of the country was. The budget is similitude to the words of Jawed Naqvi’s write-up ‘A handy checklist of fascism’ (July 2).

He stated “Dr Manmohan Singh ushered India’s IMF-advised market-friendly policies, but put the poorest of the poor right at the back of the prescribed never ending queue, lined up to collect the manna from promised trickling down of the magical nectar.”
