APROPOS the letter ‘Wedlock Policy’ (July 4). I would like to put forward a few facts as a rejoinder to the points mentioned in the letter by the additional secretary.

Since my first complaint on the portal was misdirected to a subordinate officer it met the fate of a wrong conclusion. However, my complaint (SD050619-3016807) on the citizen’s complaint portal is in the continuation of the previous one and is being reviewed by the Sindh Education Department.

Moreover, this post of PST was non-transferable only during the contract period but during the contract period many transfers have been made.

The school where I am posted as a teacher, has an adequate teacher:student ratio; my transfer will have no negative impact on the students.

It is pertinent to mention here that my husband is a permanent resident of Hyderabad so any attempts at his transfer will be against the domicile-based rationalisation process.

As a woman, I request the authorities concerned to consider my application again.
