PESHAWAR: A vehicle was damaged when heavy metal plates of under-construction elevated cycle track of Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project collapsed and fell on it. However, there was no casualty.
The incident took place in Shoba Bazaar area of the city where heavy metal plates of the elevated cycle track collapsed and crushed a private vehicle. The vehicle driver escaped unhurt.
East cantonment police station expressed ignorance about the incident, while PDA officials were not available for comments.
