RAWALPINDI: The police on Wednesday held a walk to mark international day against drug abuse and to create awareness about harmful effects of drugs use.

‘Say no to drugs’ was the slogan for the walk, led by City Police Officer Mohammad Faisal Rana.

The walk started from Metro Bus Station Saddar at 4.30 pm which was participated by a large number of traders, MNA Sheikh Rashid Shafique, SP Potohar Syed Ali, City Traffic Police, Dolphin Force, Elite Force, Ulema and members of civil society.

CPO Faisal Rana addressing on the occasion expressed his determination to eradicate drugs from the society and said that the use of narcotics was not only injurious to its users’ health but also affected their families as well.
