RAWALPINDI: A man and his sister were killed after a dumper hit their motorcycle on Girja Road in Chak Jalal Din on Monday.

Police said Hamid Rasheed, 29, and his sister Shahida Rasheed, 39, were going to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences on a motorcycle to inquire after their ailing relative.

Both the motorcycle riders suffered head injuries and were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital where they were pronounced dead by the doctors.

Their bodies were handed over to their family after the postmortem examination, police said.

The police have registered a case against unknown dumper driver and launched an investigation.
