LAHORE: Online registration of a common entrance test for admissions to BSc Engineering and Engineering Technology programmes in the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, its affiliated colleges and other engineering institutions in Punjab has commenced.

The test will be held on July 14 (Sunday) at 10am and its tokens will be available at the designated HBL branches on payment of Rs700 till July 2.

Detailed instructions about logging into the UET admission portal are given on the token. All applications will be received online and candidates are not required to visit any test centre. The candidates will have to print Admit Card online from web portal.

The entrance test application will be filled online by logging into the web link http://admission.uet.edu.pk to get the receipt of Admit Card with the help of the token serial number and token number.

Applicants may select any test centre from the list given above; however, for their own convenience applicants are advised to choose an alternative centre nearest their residence/district of domicile. Applicants are also advised to apply at their earliest.

The applicants will have to choose an alternate centre in case all seats in a centre of their choice have been filled as the capacity is limited. The last date for data entry and generation of Admit Card online is July 3. Reprint of admit cards is permitted until the day of the test.

If required, the applicants may use computer and printer facility in the designated computer laboratories at the test centres from June 10 to July 3 between 8:30am and 3:30pm from Monday to Friday. The last date for the purchase of tokens is July 2 (Tuesday) and the last date for receipt of admit cards is July 3.
