KARACHI: A man was shot dead in a Liaquatabad locality on Wednesday, police said.

They added that Arif Husain, 35, was gunned down by unknown suspect(s) in a Bandhani Colony street.

The victim was in the furniture business.

Area SHO Mohammad Nadeem, quoting the family, said that someone called Arif from his home and subsequently his bullet-riddled body was found.

The body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities.

The police registered a case against unknown killers.
