COLOMBO, July 20: The schedule for Bangladesh’s tour of Sri Lanka has been amended with the start date moved forward and all games shifted to Colombo. The tourists will arrive on the island on Aug 25 and start a three-match one-day series on Aug 31 to be followed by a two-match Test series beginning on Sept 12.

R. Premadasa International Stadium, the island’s largest cricket stadium, has also been given a Test match for the first time since New Zealand beat Sri Lanka in June 1998.

The venue has a reputation for high-scoring after Sri Lanka piled up 952-6 against India in 1997 with Sanath Jayasuriya blasting 340.

Sept 2: Second ODI (RPS, Colombo, D/N).
