NAB inaction

Published June 2, 2019

ON Feb 14, 2018, I gave an application to the chief of the National Accountability Bureau about a housing scheme by a land developer, which has not transferred my land to me over the last 30 years. The application was sent along with necessary documents, including the lease papers.

Since I didn’t hear from the NAB I wrote an application to NAB’s Director General on Aug 13, 2018, but I have not heard from him also. I contacted NAB on UAN number 111-622-622, but nobody responded. It seems the number is not in use.

As early as in June 2008 I wrote to Sindh NAB about the housing project, where my plot of land is supposed to exist. But nothing happened. This shows a dismal state of affairs in NAB.

I also wrote to NAB Islamabad but have heard nothing from his office.
