KARACHI: The weekly Gymkhana race meeting that was scheduled to take place at the Karachi Racecourse on Saturday has been cancelled for want of competition, a spokesman for the Karachi Race Club (KRC) said on Friday.
‘Entries of fewer horses due to scorching heat has compelled KRC to cancel the races,’ he added.
It may be mentioned that this is the second meeting that has been cancelled during the ongoing Ramazan.
Next meeting will be held on Saturday (June 1), he added.
