QUETTA: The director general of National of Accountability Bureau (NAB), Balochistan, Farmanullah, has said that transparency and greater accountability are indispensable for the continuity of development process as lack of accountability leads to corruption and collapse of justice system.

Speaking at an open kutchery here on Thursday in NAB office, he said that NAB was committed to eradicating corruption from society through its holistic approach.

“Elements involved in loot and plunder of the national wealth will be brought to justice,” he said.

He claimed that accountability bureau was pursuing the policy of across-the-board accountability and strict action would be taken against those people who were looting the national wealth and cheating public at large for their vested interests.

A large number of people visited the bureau office and submitted their complaints against government functionaries, departments and private individuals.

The director general of NAB issued immediate action on some complaints.
