LAHORE: A man was killed allegedly by his son over a domestic issue in Kot Lakhpat area on Thursday.
Police said Sajid stole the mobile phone of his father, Khalid Mahmood, 50, and sold it to his friend at which his father beat him up and asked him to bring the phone back.
The inquiry officer said Mahmood was asleep on the roof of his house when Sajid hit him in the head with a blunt weapon. He suffered critical injuries and was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police registered a murder case against the suspect and arrested him.
