KARACHI: Officials in the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation on Sunday said at a meeting that a number of development schemes were waiting for funds from the Sindh government to be completed as the shortfall had touched Rs833.5 million during the current fiscal year due to end on June 30.

An official handout released by the KMC said that during a meeting held to review the ongoing development schemes presided over by metropolitan commissioner Saifur Rehman, the officials concerned said there was a shortfall of Rs833.5 million under the head of the ongoing schemes.
