ISLAMABAD: Culprits looted cash and valuables in three strikes on Saturday, police said.

Cash and valuables worth Rs700,000 were stolen from the house of Mohammad Ghafoor, located in Jeddah Town. The house owner suspects his servant might be involved in the theft.

In another incident, some burglars broke into the house of Qasir Masood in G-10 and made off with Rs33,000 cash and valuables.

Some thieves struck at a house of Anwarul Haq in F-7/2 and made off with Rs5,000 in cash and CNIC.

Meanwhile, Islamabad Industrial Area police busted a gang of robbers comprising two members and recovered cash, mobile phones, looted items and weapons from them, police stated.

They were wanted to Industrial Area police in connection with robberies. During the initial interrogation, they confessed to their involvement in several robberies and street crimes.
