QUETTA: Newly appointed director general of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Balochistan, Farmanullah has assumed the charge of his office.

A spokesman for NAB said on Thursday that soon after taking over charge, Mr Farmanullah reviewed the performance of the bureau in the province.

“NAB believes in across-the-board accountability,” the new DG said while addressing NAB officers. He asked them to maintain integrity and proceed with the cases as per the law.

He said the policy of “accountability for all” would be pursued in line with the vision of NAB Chairman retired Justice Javed Iqbal.

Mr Farmanullah joined the anti-graft watchdog in 2003 and held key posts at NAB headquarters, Rawalpindi, Karachi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He served as director general of NAB, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, during 2018-19.
