MINGORA: A man and a woman were killed in the name of honour allegedly by the woman’s in-laws in Qalagey area of Kabal tehsil late Tuesday night.

According to Kabal police, they received information about the incident and reached the spot where they found a married woman and a young man dead.

“The bodies had deep wounds which indicate heavy violence was inflicted on them before they were shot dead. We shifted the bodies to tehsil hospital, Kabal, for postmortem,” SHO Kabal Iqbal Nasim said.

He said according to their information the two were killed by the woman’s father-in-law and brother-in-laws who had already fled the scene.

Police registered a case and were searching for the alleged killers, he added.
