LARKANA: A suspect facing trial in a 2012 cracker blast case was arrested by the Civil Lines police of Larkana from near Municipal Stadium in the city.

The police declared the arrest of Khadim Hussain Arijo on Tuesday and produced him before the Larkana Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC). The judge remanded him in judicial custody. According to the police record, Arijo was involved in a cracker blast that had occurred outside the main gate of National Bank’s main branch in Larkana in 2012. He was facing trial in the case (FIR No. 56/2012) registered against him under Section 4/3 of the Explosives Act. However, he started evading the case hearings about two years ago and apparently went missing from his area of residence, Hyderabad.
