I RETIRED as an additional secretary from the Sindh forest wildlife department in December 1998. I was getting my pension regularly from Hyderabad treasury office till September 2000 when I shifted to Lahore to be with my son so he could care for me.

I got my pension transferred from Sindh to Lahore and started getting my pension there from October 2000, and all was well till February 2018. In March 2018, the NBP branch manager where I would receive my pension revised it from the pass book system to online, stating henceforth all pensioners would receive pension online.

The Punjab Accountant General office forwarded my pension details to the AG Sindh office for processing my papers. To date, the A.G Sindh has not settled my pension case despite repeated requests, and I have not been getting pension since March 2018,

I request Sindh chief minister to firm action as this is a humanitarian issue.
