LAHORE, July 12: The following were Tuesday’s upcountry commodity market rates in rupees. Foodgrains (per 40 kg): Wheat 450 to 460; Jowar 700 to 900; Maize 340 to 500; Bajra 880; Barley 600 to 620.

Sugar: White 1,140; Shakkar 1,300 to 1,450 Gur Fine 1,200 to 1,400.

Oil And Oilseeds (per 40 kg): Mustard Oil 2,200; Cottonseed Oil 2,000; Coconut Oil 4,000; Linseed Oil 2,600; Cooking Oil 2,000 to 2,120.

Pulses (per 40 kg): Masoor Whole 1,500 to 1,800; Masoor Dal 1,450 to 1,550; Grams White 1,450 to 1,550; Grams Black 800 to 850; Grams Dal 860 to 900; Maash Whole 1,200 to 1,280; Dal Maash Washed 1,500 to 1,600; Dal Maash Unwashed 1,350 to 1,450; Moong Whole 1,150 to 1,300; Dal Moong Washed 1,380 to 1,425; Dal Moong Unwashed 1,350 to 1,500.

Spices (per 40 kg): Cardamom Small 12000 to 24000; Cardamom Large 7,800 to 10,000; Clove 10,000; Black Pepper 4,100; Cumminseed Black 6,000 to 12,000; Cumminseed White 3,200; Chillies Grinded 2,150 to 2,450; Chillies Dandicut 1,800 to 2,400; Turmeric Pak 1600; Turmeric Grinded 1,800; Coriander 1,800; to 2,400 Coriander Grinded 2,300; Darchini 2,800 to 3,100.—APP
