Cash, jewellery looted

MANSEHRA, Jan 12: Armed men looted cash and valuables from a house in mohallah Chania on Friday night.

Family members of Haji Nazir, who works in Saudi Arabia, said that on Friday night around ten armed persons scaled the walls of their house and held the family members hostage. The armed men tied all the family members with ropes and locked them in a room. Later, they collected cash, jewellry, valuables and prize bonds worth millions of rupees and fled. Mohammad Rafiq, brother of Nazir, told Dawn that bandits were talking to each other in Kohistani language. He said an FIR had been lodged with local police but so far no arrest had been made.
