LONDON: Gold prices rose on Friday as disappointing economic data from the eurozone added to concerns of a slowdown in global growth and drove investors away from riskier assets.
Silver was down 0.2pc to $15.44 per ounce, while platinum fell 0.1pc at $857.59 per ounce.
