Two more matches decided

KARACHI: Two more matches were decided in the ongoing NBP Pakistan Day basketball at the Arambagh Basketball courts on Sunday.

In the first match of the day, Mamba Squad beat Peterson Stars 48-37.

Scorers for the winners were Asif Iqbal (13 points), Saad Khan and Noman (nine points each). For the losing side, Jonathan D’Souza scored 12 points while Steeve D’Souza and Allan Fernandez contributed with eight points each.

In the second match, Karachi Basketball beat Binoria Basketball Club with a big margin of 63-47 in a one-sided contest and emerged as group champions.

Raj Kumar stole the limelight with his brilliant 37 points for the winners. He was well assisted by Zainul Abedeen, who scored 18 points while Fuzail scored 17.

For the losers, the main contributor was Syedi Ameen who scored 30 points.
